The relationship Wizkid and Drake has remained in public discourse since the Canadian rapper failed to appear in the video of ‘Come Closer’, a song owned by Wizkid, on which he had an input. Stories surfaced from the rumor mill, that the relationship between the two artists is not as smooth as a lot of Nigerians believed. Infact, it was said that the relationship between the two artists is strictly professional and that Wizkid and Drake have never met before. With no picture or video to counter the story, it became a lore that was often told to make light of Wizkid’s international success. During a recent interview, the singer was asked why he has not posted a picture of him and Drake, and he responded by saying that he doesn’t see the need to. He stated that he is less interested in showing off his meetings with international stars like Drake for social points, and more interested in the music aspect of their dealings.

Mavin Records head boss, Don Jazzy has revealed that he contributed to the production of the latest song by American RnB artiste Neyo. According to Don Jazzy, he co-produced the song, Push Back with Stargate, his American counterpart. The song is Neyo’s first release of 2018. It features Bebe Rexha and Stefflon Don. Don Jazzy said he also served as a backing vocalist for Push Back. His rich baritone, which he described as “my crocodile voice” can be heard in opening seconds of the song. “Another big one in the bag.
